Everything imported into this catalogue was checked against its own licence before it was included, and the check is recorded rather than claimed. But an automated check reads what a repository publishes, and a repository can be wrong, can change, or can have published something it had no right to. If a component here is yours and should not be, this page is how to get it removed.

How to report it

Write to the address on the contact page with:

• The component, by the name it carries here.
• Where the original lives.
• What the correct licence is, or that there is none.
• Enough for me to tell that you are the person who holds the rights.

What happens then

• Within 24 hours the component is pulled from the catalogue while the claim is looked at. It comes out first and is argued about second.
• Within 7 days you get an answer: either it stays out, or an explanation of the licence that permits it, with the text.
• If it stays out, the importer is changed so the same library cannot come back in on the next run.

What is already refused

A licence has to permit redistribution and selling. Anything carrying a "Commons Clause", a non-commercial rider, or no licence at all is refused by the importer rather than included hopefully. The licence page names what was left out and why, including libraries good enough that leaving them out cost real volume.

If you are a user and you copied something affected

A component removed from the catalogue does not become a problem in your project retroactively for anything you took in good faith. If a removal has consequences for people who already copied it, that is published here rather than left for them to discover.
